Michael Bond, author of Paddington Bear, dies

We’re saddened today at the Fennec Den to hear of the passing of Paddington Bear writer, Michael Bond. With a career spanning over 50 years, he created such beloved characters the French detective Monsieur Pamplemousse (one of our favourites!), Olga da Polga, A Mouse Called Thursday and of course our favourite Bear from ‘deepest, darkest Peru’. He truly touched the loves of generations of children and his writing will live on.
